Profile
Illustrator, picture book author, and etcher.
Recipient of the 1993 The Choice Annual Award. Lived in France from 1996 to 1998 and from 2004 to 2006, and received the 2006 Cultural Award from the city of Viofly, France. Has published picture books in both Japan and France. While focusing on publishing picture books based on original etchings, she also exhibits works depicting the streets of Paris in a soft, watercolor-like style at solo and group exhibitions.
プロフィール
イラストレーター、絵本作家、銅版画家。
1993年ザ・チョイス年度賞受賞。96~98年、04～06年渡仏し、2006年フランスviofly市文化賞受賞。日本とフランスで絵本を出版。銅版画を原画にした絵本出版を中心に活動しながら、個展やグループ展で柔らかい水彩画のような銅版画でパリの街を描いた作品を発表している。
